How the firm came to be
A brokerage built for today.
Alex Hale joined the group benefits industry in 2016. After several years in the industry we saw the same patterns repeat, renewal costs climbing every spring, employees confused about their own plan, brokers showing up once a year and providing little value.
WorkBenefits was founded to do the opposite. Pick up the phone. Explain things clearly. Charge a flat rate and show the math. Build plans employees are glad to have. Build benefits as a part of the company culture.
Today WorkBenefits operates as a division of Hale & Associates Inc., with a full team behind every plan, account management, member services, claims advocacy, and compliance under one roof.

We work with employers across Ontario. Most of our clients are in the GTA, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Ottawa. When it makes sense, we'll come to your office. Most of the time, video works fine.
